When you search the library catalogue, search under SUBJECT - SHORT STORIES you will find a list of 159 books with short stories. These are kept on the back wall after the general fiction collection.
Check in the Reference section under REF 809.31 CRI for
the following series of books: "Critical Survey of Short Fiction".
There are 7 volumes. Use the Index (vol. 7) to search the category index.
Select the category which interests you. You can then select the short
stories by page numbers. These refer to the first 6 volumes. After reading
a synopsis of the story you can then proceed to look for the story either
in our book or online collection
